Life at School
Our Approach
At Green Meadows, we ensure a quality Montessori education for every child. We provide a meticulously designed environment both inside and outside, experienced and passionate teachers, and an unwavering commitment to a child-centered approach. These features lead to an early educational experience that cultivates intrinsic motivation and a high level of curiosity. Life at school, with our teachers and students striving for excellence, values peace, equity, and diversity, and continuously works toward growing empowered, independent learners.
Our Montessori Guides
The role of the adult in the Montessori classroom differs from the traditional teacher who imparts knowledge upon their students. Instead, Montessori educators play the role of a facilitator of learning by preparing and maintaining the classroom environment, and supporting and guiding the children in their growth. Life at school involves a Montessori teacher observing the behaviors and interactions of the children, both with the environment and with other children, and adapting accordingly. The teacher guides not by directing, but by providing meaningful learning opportunities and making each aspect of the classroom accessible to all students.
